Current Volume 49

JRL Archive

Current articles are placed on-line as high-resolution PDF files as they are accepted following peer review. Articles on systematic subjects are simultaneously printed and mailed to selected libraries to be valid by ICZN criteria.  At the end of each year, all articles will be printed and distributed as a single volume to life members and subscribers. Pagination will follow the order of publication as given by the on-line version.  Papers will be placed on line and emailed to all members and subscribers as soon as finally set.

There are no charges to authors.  The use of color is not restricted, but expected to be reasonable as color involves substantial costs when the annual volume is printed. Articles will be published as rapidly as journal.  The only delay will be time for peer review and modification.  Every effort will be made to complete review within two weeks.  For more information see:  Instructions to authors.

Articles for the current volume follow in two parts. The first is an HTML including title, author(s), publication date, pagination, abstract and key words.  The second is the PDF file of the entire piece. All of the articles are available for non-commercial, personal and scientific use and must be acknowledged. All articles published in JRL are registered under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License unless otherwise mentioned.

We are currently indexed by Biosis, Zoological Record and CABI Abstracts. We have contacted indexing services including BioOne and others to establish links that will maximize exposure and visibility of the JRL and provide impact data. We are working on links to the home pages of professional lepidopterists worldwide, long term research projects and surveys to increase communication among colleagues. Your participation is invited and please feel free to make any suggestions that can improve our performance.
